2023 Competition Entry
The EuroDov Tour is home to five main tournaments throughout the year. Every tournament is open to Founding and Full Members and to Honorary members where an invitation is extended.
2021 saw a significant expansion of the tournaments on offer to members and as such the 2023 entry process will follow that of 2022. Players will be required to declare their entries for tournaments to the Society Secretary, David McColgan, in advance of the deadline detailed below. Please note no entry fees are required at the time of declaration.
Players will be able to find details of of each event including dates, entry fees, costs and prize monies below. [Please note prize funds are dependant on entry numbers and may be less than stated.]
Anstruther Medal
The Anstruther Medal was first played for in 2021 and was the first pairs competition on the Tour.
Played over 9 holes of Fourballs matchplay (half-handicap allowance) 8 teams compete to lift the Anstruther Medal. The competition is held over three courses in a rotation, Anstruther Golf Club, Falkland Golf Club and Milnathort Golf Club.

The Anstruther Medal is open to all players.

Players do not require an official handicap to compete in the Anstruther Medal. Players with a WHS will be required to use their WHS, players without a handicap will be subject to ET local rules on handicapping.

Players must enter as a team, solo entries are not permitted.
Field Size:
The field is restricted to 16 players (8 teams)

There is a £17.50 entry fee per player. The entry-fee is non-refundable.

Dates:
The tournament will be played on Sunday July 9th at Falkland Golf Club.
Closing date:
All declarations to play have to be made to the Society Secretary, David McColgan, with declarations submitted no later than Friday March 31st 2023.
EuroDov Cup
The EuroDov Cup was first played for in 2018 at La Manga, Spain. The tournament is the only one held annually outside of Scotland and is played over 54 holes singles strokeplay (full handicap allowance).
There was no tournament in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and in 2021 and 2022 it was held in the UK for the first time ever. In 2023 the EuroDov Cup will return to the continent.

Cascais, Lisbon, Portugal
£379 per player
3 x 18 holes of golf (Quinta da Marinha, Estoril, Penha Longa)
3 x nights stay in a twin room (Vila Galle Cascais)
Full breakfast
Travel to Lisbon is not included.
Dates:
The tournament will be played over the period of Thursday 23rd March - Sunday 26th.
Closing date:
All declarations to play have to be made to the Society Secretary, David McColgan, with declarations submitted no later than Friday December 30th 2022 with final balance due January 2023.
Order of Merit
Entry Requirements:

The OoM is open to Founding and Full members.

Players are not required to play all OoM events however if a player can't compete for whatever reason no points will be awarded to them.

Players do not require an official handicap to compete in the OoM. Players with a WHS will be required to use their WHS, players without a handicap will be subject to ET local rules on handicapping.
Field Size:
The Order of Merit has an unrestricted field.

The Order of Merit (OoM) was first played in 2021. It is a 7 tournament event that spans March-August and features one tournament a month across 7 different courses. Players compete in singles strokeplay (full handicap allowance) to gather points in the hope of topping the Order of Merit points list come August. Players also compete for the Harry Vardon Trophy, awarded to the best average net score over the season.
RyDov Cup
The RyDov Cup is the EuroDov Tour's flagship event and marks the end of the Society's season.
Played at the Kinross Golf Courses, since 2013, the event features the Society Captain taking on a challenging team over Singles and Greensomes Matchplay. The Tournament also plays host to the Montgomery Cup (Best low handicap score) and Bruce Cup (Best high handicap score).
This is the end of season bonanza that sees 24 players go head to head over two fantastic courses.

Summer Shoutout
The Summer Shoutout is a new event for the 2023 season. An individual strokeplay event played over 18 holes.
The event is hosted annually on the PGA Academy course, the Wee Course, at Gleneagles. The Wee Course is made up of 9 challenging par 3's that will test players approach play to the limit. With holes ranging from 120 to 215 yards it will require skill and nerve to succeed over the course of the event.

The Invitational
The Invitational was a new event for the 2022 season. It is the only event on Tour that requires pre-qualification. The 2023 Invitational will take place at Tulliallan Golf Club, Kincardine.
The event is a 36 hole, singles strokeplay (full handicap allowance) event played over one day.
Entry Requirements:

The Invitational is is open to Founding and Full members who card the Top-8 net scores in the preceding RyDov Cup.

Players do not require an official handicap to compete in The Invitational. Players with a WHS will be required to use their WHS, players without a handicap will be subject to ET local rules on handicapping.
Field Size:
The field is restricted to 8 qualifying players plus any additional invitations.

The tournament will be played on Sunday May 7th 2023.
Closing date:
Players will be notified if they have qualified for the Invitational Tournament following the completion of the morning rounds at the 2022 RyDov Cup. Players will have until Friday 4th November 2022 to notify the Society Secretary, David McColgan, of their intention to play.
